ABOUT PRESS GANG CREATIVE

Press Gang Creative is a design house founded by husband and wife team, Austin & Sarah Boyd. Based in Denver, Colorado, Press Gang was founded in January of 2024, with a mission to help small businesses go from business to brand.

With a background in design, manufacturing, punk rock, hip hop, and a love for subculture, Press Gang takes an unconventional approach to design.

WHAT TO EXPECT

PHASE 1: BRANDING

  • In this stage, the following tasks are completed:

    - Deposit made
    - Contract signed
    - Onboarding document completed (you're doing this now.)

  • In this stage, the following tasks are completed:

    - Design references collected (you'll submit this in a minute.)
    - Project Roadmap created
    - Project timeline sent
    - Mood board created

  • In this stage, the following tasks are completed:

    - First round branding drafts created (logos, typography, color palettes, etc.)
    - First round branding presentation created
    - First round branding presentation sent


    Once your first round of branding drafts are created, you'll receive a branding presentation document. You'll be able to look over your design files, check out mockups, and see what your branding looks like in action.

    In this document, you'll be able to leave feedback directly on each design element for revisions, or sign off completely.

  • In this stage, the following tasks are completed:

    -First round branding feedback submitted for revisions


    Once your first round branding presentation has been sent, you'll be able to look over your design files, check out mockups, and see what your branding looks like in action.

    In this document, you'll be able to leave feedback directly on each design element for revisions, or sign off completely.

    Additionally, if you'd rather review your first round designs on a Zoom call, you'll be given the option to schedule a call.

  • In this stage, the following tasks are completed:

    - Revisions made to designs based upon your feedback
    - Branding presentation is revised with updated design


    After you've provided us with your feedback on your first round design drafts, we make revisions to align with your desired look and feel.

    After your revisions are completed, you'll receive an updated branding presentation document showcasing the updates. Just like in the first round, you can leave feedback directly in the document, or you can schedule a Zoom call to discuss.

  • In this stage, the following tasks are completed:

    - Further revisions made to designs based upon your feedback
    - Branding presentation is revised with updated design


    After you've provided us with your feedback on your second round design drafts, we make further revisions to align with your desired look and feel.

    After your revisions are completed, you'll receive an updated branding presentation document showcasing the updates. Just like in the first round, you can leave feedback directly in the document, or you can schedule a Zoom call to discuss.

  • In this stage, the following tasks are completed:

    - Final revisions made to designs based upon your feedback
    - Branding presentation is revised with finalized designs


    This is your last round of revisions. At this point, your designs will be finalized for use.

    After your revisions are completed, you'll receive a finalized branding presentation document showcasing the final updates. Just like in the first round, you can leave feedback directly in the document, or you can schedule a Zoom call to discuss.

PHASE 2: WEBSITE

  • In this stage, the following tasks are completed:

    - Website wireframe is completed with your customized branding
    - Integrations set up
    - Shop/E-Commerce functionality created


    In this stage, we build your website property in full, minus the content you want on the site. The purpose of this stage is to get an idea of the site functionality and layout, before content is added. You can expect to see lots of placeholder images and text, which will later be updated with the content you provide.

  • In this stage, the following tasks are completed:

    - You review your website property layout
    - You provide feedback on layout and functionality


    In this stage, you provide feedback on your website layout and functionality. The content portion will come later, but this step allows you to make your customizations.

  • In this stage, the following tasks are completed:

    - Revisions are made to website based upon your feedback
    - You provide finalized feedback on layout and functionality


    In this stage, you provide finalized feedback on your website layout and functionality. This prepares us to add your content.

  • In this stage, the following tasks are completed:

    • Custom content is added to your website
    • Content is formatted to website
    • Optimization for desktop and mobile environments
    - Payment processor integrated
    - Domain connected
    - Custom email integrated (upon request)
    - Final customizations added
    - Final testing completed


    In this stage, we begin finalizing your website property. We thoroughly test each feature, finalize setting up integrations, connect your domain name, and prepare for launch.

    This is the final stage before setting your website live.

  • In this stage, the following tasks are completed:

    - Remaining balance payment collected
    - Design files prepped for transfer
    - Website property updated to live public status
    - Finalized Brand Guidelines document created


    In this stage, we collect payment on your remaining balance, and prepare all created assets for ownership transfer.

  • In this stage, the following tasks are completed:

    - Design files transferred
    - Website property ownership transferred
    - Finalized Brand Guidelines document sent


    In this stage, we transfer all of your design assets, transfer website ownership to you, and deliver your finalized Brand Guidelines document. This step concludes the project.
